The Rolling Pin

I had the opportunity do a mural through my friends at Husk. It was for a dumpling joint called the 'The Rolling Pin' at the viaduct in Auckland. The illustrations needed to include ingredients, dumplings, and mecha pandas, which resulted in the fastest yes I've ever given.

This initial design had the clearing for the beams. Unfortunately, the mecha panda idea was cut during the design process, but I hear through the grapevine that they might be repurposed for a tote bag and other collateral! The final mural has less detail and bolder lines as it needed to attract foot traffic from across the street.
